Just wanted to apologize to my readers for the lack of updates over the last few weeks. I’ve been busy with my real job, paying the bills and all that. But in the meantime, everyone needs to stop over and check out Fancy Fast Food, a really great blog featuring gourmet takes on fast food. All items are created from actual fast food items. You need to check out some of my favorites like Spicy Chicken Sushi (Fancy Popeyes Chicken) and Boston Krème Brûlée & Fruit Tart (Fancy Dunkin’ Donuts). Bon appetit.

The Best Fast Food in America – Esquire Chef Survey

I stumbled upon a great slide show on esquire.com featuring reviews and recommendations of fast food chains by some of America’s top chefs. Interesting to note, two burger joints that I plan to do a “Throw Down” for this week are featured, In-N-Out Burger and Five Guys. They also mention a local favorite of mine, Wow Bao.

Food, Inc. film review

Last weekend I saw the movie Food, Inc., a recently released documentary on the perils of the American industrialized food system. I would highly recommend it to all my readers. There’s some really scary stuff in the film. I would like to dismiss it as anti-fast food propaganda, but we all know there’s plenty wrong with America’s diet. The film features accounts from some foremost food journalist like Michael Pollen and Eric Schlosser.

There’s a few especially choice scenes showing the insides of slaughter houses and animal pens. Really makes one think twice about eating meat, much less fast food. I know I’m trying to eat less of it. And if you decide to give up fast food and or meat, don’t worry loyal readers, you can always count on fastfoodreviewed to eat and review the latest fast food terrorfest, so you don’t have to.

I highly recommend everyone go out and see Food Inc. Its only playing in select theaters, check out movie times at Yahoo! Movies. Or look below for the official Food, Inc. trailer.

Quizno’s Lingo: A Guide.

“Dude, we have a Quiz tomorrow.”

This means that, like the good fast-food citizens that you are, you are planning to eat at Quizno’s tomorrow. You could have a Quiz next week or even the week after, but if you just decided this now and are going to go to Quizno’s today…

“Pop Quiz!”

You may have passed on on the street, or it might have just popped into your bring, but one way or another, you are headed to Quizno’s today. Quizno’s has that way about it that can make you instantly crave it.

“You got Quiz on your face.”

Self explanitory.

“This is way better than Quizblows.”

Not a fan? You’re an idiot, but at least get the terminology correct.
